Collection and Permitted Uses of Personal Information

When you enroll as a student or as a subscriber (a “Learner”) on our site or its courses, we (Greenleaf Book Group, LLC d/b/a ProThink Learning) may collect personal information that you provide to us (including, but not limited to, your name and your email address) as part of the enrollment process.  We may use such personal information to send you emails (or other communications) about our site, its registration processes, its course content, your course progress, and/or other updates. We may also use such personal information to inform you of changes to courses, to survey you about your usage of our program, to suggest or market courses (or other products) that might be of interest to you (based upon your prior site usage or course purchases), and/or to request your opinion in respect of other aspects of our program.  Lastly, we may retain some such personal information after Program Termination, as defined in our Terms and Conditions of Service (, but only for internal recordkeeping purposes, for purposes of fulfilling obligations to Learners in respect of purchased content, or for marketing and polling purposes as described above.


By providing us with personal information to become a Learner on our site or its courses, and/or by purchasing or otherwise participating in our site or its courses, you consent to our collection of such personal information, and you consent to our above-described uses of such personal information.  We will not use your personal information for any purposes not described herein without first securing your consent for such additional uses (or, alternatively, without first providing you with an opportunity to disallow such additional uses).

Site and Course Content Hosted by Thinkific Labs, Inc.

Our site and its courses are hosted by Thinkific Labs, Inc. (“Thinkific”).  In order to host our site and its courses, Thinkific’s programs, applications, databases, and/or data storage functions will store your personal information and/or other data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Data Collected for Payment Processing Purposes

We may use a third-party payment processor (such as PayPal Holdings, Inc., or Stripe, Inc.) to transact any purchases that you make on our site.  Payments are encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”): all direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS standards, which are implemented to ensure the secure handling of credit card information in respect of our site and its courses, and which are managed by the PCI Security Standards Council (a joint effort of providers including, but not limited to, Visa Inc., Mastercard Inc., The American Express Company, and Discover Financial Services).  Data that you provide will be stored for only as long as is necessary to complete the associated purchase transaction.

Although third parties involved in provision of any services associated with our site or its courses generally will only collect, use, and/or disclose your data or personal information to the extent necessary for performance of such services, such third parties may have published their own privacy policies governing their use of such data or personal information, and we recommend that you review any and all such available third-party privacy policies to better understand those providers’ rights, obligations, and limitations.  Data or personal information collected by third parties may be subject to the laws and/or legal processes of the jurisdictions in which those third parties are located (or in which they have offices or other facilities).

Links on our site or in our courses may direct you to outside parties’ sites and/or applications.  Once you either leave our site or are redirected to a third-party site or third-party application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or by our own Terms and Conditions of Service (  We are not responsible for outside parties’ actions and/or practices, and so we encourage you to read any privacy policies or statements that they may make available.

Security Measures Applied to User Data and/or Personal Information

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to protect your data and/or personal information.  Credit card information provided to us will be encrypted using secure socket layer technology (“SSL”) and will be stored via AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of internet-based transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, we follow generally accepted industry standards including all PCI-DSS protocols.


Use of Cookies (or Similar Technologies), Automated Tracking Methods, and Web Analysis Tools

When you use our site or its courses, we may collect cookies (or use similar tracking technologies) to track your session or to customize the content that we provide to you.  This means that our site’s server may transfer information to your server.  Most commonly used internet web browsers enable you to modify your usage settings to provide you with notice of (and/or an opportunity to reject) usage of cookies.

We may use automated tracking methods on our websites, in our communications with you, and in our products and services (to measure performance and engagement).  Because there is no consistent industry understanding of how to respond to “Do Not Track” signals, we do not alter our data collection and usage practices when we detect a “Do Not Track” signal from your browser.

We may use web analysis tools that are built into the ProThink Learning website to measure and collect anonymous session information.
